Holiday Accommodation FAQ’s

Bribe FAST offers regular shuttle transfers from Brisbane Airport. Bribie Island Taxi and Limousine Services as well as local rideshare businesses offer customised services to both airports.

Located on the eastern or ‘calm’ side of the island and just south of the bridge, you can walk everywhere – and it’s flat! A safe sheltered beach, parks, picnic tables are just across the road.  A 400m easy walk brings you to large IGA supermarket, newsagent, chemist, Liquorland and café. And a 20 minute stroll along the esplanade will take you to the Bongaree Jetty Precinct hosting the Bribie Bowls Club, restaurants and cafes, shops, kids’ playground, the Seaside Museum and much more. At 2.4km, you can even walk to the Sandstone Point Hotel to and from one of their amazing outdoor concerts. A 10 minute cab fare will get you everywhere else you need to go on the island including the Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club. And our friendly Bribie Bowls Club, Bribie RSL and Bribie Island Hotel provide courtesy buses.

Apartments

Big! One of the most common comments from our guests is how spacious and modern the apartments are. If you are preparing for your wedding, the is plenty of room for your bridal party to prepare.

A 2-bedroom apartment always has 2 bathrooms – an ensuite with walk in shower, double vanity and toilet and a second bathroom with shower, bath and toilet.

A 3-bedroom apartment has two bathrooms – an ensuite with walk in shower, double vanity and toilet and a second bathroom with shower, bath and toilet.

Yes. Our 1-bedroom apartments are in fact our 2-bedroom apartments with the second bed and bathrooms locked off. All that extra living space for a 1-bedroom price!

Yes, every apartment has a hair dryer.

Yes, our residential-style apartments have a full-size kitchen with full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and 4 plate cooktop. Kitchens are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, bowls, saucepans, fry pans and other useful items including teapot and coffee plunger.

Yes, every apartment has a spacious balcony with outdoor seating. Views to the Pumicestone Passage vary depending on the location of the apartment in the building.

Yes, all the apartments have a European-style laundry with washing machine and dryer. We also provide a drying rack, iron and ironing board.

Yes, as a minimum all the apartments have a split-system air conditioner in the living area and ceiling fans to the bedrooms. The 3-bedroom apartments have a second air conditioner in the master bedroom.

Yes, all bed and bath linen is provided for each guest. Additional bath linen is available at a minimal cost and every apartment has a laundry for your convenience. You may wish to bring your own beach / pool towel or hire these from Reception to minimise your baggage.

Mid-stay services are provided for stays longer than 7 nights. During this service all bed and bath linen is replaced, bathrooms are spot cleaned and living areas spot vacuumed.

All regular digital channels plus complimentary Netflix.

While we do not have any apartments specifically for our disabled guests, all our apartments are accessible by lift. All doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs and every apartment has a walk-in shower with hand-held shower head.

However, bathrooms and toilets are not fitted with hand rails and chairs cannot be wheeled into the showers. Therefore guests must be able to transfer with assistance.

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the apartments and balconies as well as on the grounds including the pool area and car park. A 1 nights’ accommodation penalty applies if the apartment smells of smoke residue and cannot be re-let.

Accommodation Bookings

Booking online through an ‘online agent’ is not cheaper. Rates on our direct website are usually at least 5% cheaper and if not, we are happy to price match.

Not always! We may have last-minute cancellations and is not always possible to promote every availability combination online. Call us and we may be able to move something around and meet your request.

Not a problem. After authorising payment of the balance of the accommodation, we will forward instructions to collect the keys from the onsite Lockbox. You can then pop into Reception first thing the next day to complete the check-in process by signing off on the Terms and Conditions.

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the booking with the balance payable on arrival

  • $200 for Low and Mid-season bookings
  • $500 for Peak season bookings
  • Bookings are not confirmed until the Deposit is receipted

Low/Mid Season Cancellation

  • FREE cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival = full refund of deposit
  • 2-7 days prior to arrival = $100 administration fee: balance is refundable
  • Less than 48 hours or no-show = the deposit is not refundable
  • No refund will be given for early departure

High Season Cancellation

  • FREE cancellation up to 28 days prior to arrival = full refund of deposit
  • 7-28 days = $250 administration fee: balance is refundable
  • Less than 7 days or no-show = $250 administration fee applies with any balance of the deposit refunded only if the apartment is re-let for the entire duration at the same tariff
  • No refund will be given for early departure.

Group bookings during low and mid seasons – 4 apartments or more

  • FREE cancellation up to 14 days prior to arrival = full refund of deposit
  • Less than 14 days prior to arrival or no-show = the deposit is not refundable
  • No refund will be given for early departure.
